Diagnosis

Upper frons with strong reticulation; mesoscutum and scutellum golden-green, mesoscutum with weak and raised reticulation, scutellum with engraved and very weak reticulation, medially and laterally smooth; notauli as distinct narrow grooves in posterior ½; femora dark brown with metallic tinges; tibiae yellowish-white; gaster with first tergite with punctures.

Costa Rica, USA (Florida).

Biology

From Apanteles sp. (Hymenoptera: Braconidae); Ceratomia catalpae (Lepidoptera: Sphingidae).

Similar species in Lucid key

alnus, but floridanus with weaker reticulation on mesoscutum and scutellum.
